After a fifteen year career spent in-front of and behind the camera in the film, photographic & advertising industry, Sammie moved on to study screenwriting for Film & TV at Central St. Martin's in London, following which she was quicky signed by Literary Agents, Pollinger.

>Professional photographer, Sammie formed Dogaholics 'Home from Home' Boarding in 2007 after having lost her best friend, Baloo - a beautiful, gentle, Japanese Akita-cross - to time and old age.

"Over the years, dogs have taught me the importance of loyalty, compassion and respect and loosing my own dog, Baloo, to time and old age left me well and truly afloat without a paddle. However in my hour of need other peoples' dogs came to the rescue, giving me the opportunity to combine my passions for both dog psychology and photography, and so began Dogaholics"

Today, Sammie devotes her time to developing and running Dogaholics as well as photographing dogs and fascinating people in everyday places.
